Plinia sp. Red Pouch is a new Jabotica cultivar first introduced in Hong Kong in 2021. Red Pouch is probably Plinia phitrantha, or at least phitrantha is the dominant ancestor. Large grapes contain 1-4 large seeds and are partially ribbed. They have a sweet juicy pulp of excellent quality. The leaves are flat dark green with a deep main groove with smaller secondary veins. It will bear fruit on jaboticaby quite early, between 4-7 years. PRICE 22 EURO
