We imported the seeds of this Jaboticaba from Argentina in the province of Misiones, where this Jaboticaba grows. Its purple fruits grow up to 3.5 cm in size, have a pink flesh, excellent pineapple-cherry flavor with 1-4 seeds. The tree grows relatively fast and begins to bear fruit around the fifth year. It should be partially frost-resistant up to -6 C
