This very rare eugenia, native to the Virgin Islands, grows like a small compact shrub and produces small, black, very sweet and delicious fruits. It is ideal for growing in a pot, where it can bear fruit for the third year, at a height of about 30 cm. It grows very slowly and is easy to maintain when grown in a container of only about 60 cm.
