Cherimoya, a creamy, delicious fruit
Imagine a small tree that will bring you the most delicious fruit you have ever tasted, right at home or in your greenhouse. Cherimoya, originally from South America, is a jewel among tropical plants. Cherimoya fruits are medium-sized, 7-12 cm long, with a green, slightly bumpy skin and creamy, buttery flesh. Their sweet taste is unique - reminiscent of a combination of pineapple, banana and vanilla with a subtle sour undertone.
During growth and fruiting, it requires regular watering, but overwatering should be avoided. After harvest, a light cut promotes healthy growth and a richer harvest.
The fruit you sometimes find in stores cannot be compared to the one you grow yourself – a home-grown cherimoya, harvested at peak ripeness, is a taste experience you won’t soon forget. This tree is also quite resistant to cold, so you can grow it not only in a temperate greenhouse, but also at home – in the garden or terrace during the summer, and in a cooler room in the winter.
Bring a piece of the tropics right into your home and enjoy the most delicious fruit in the world!
